Residents of Abernant area of Northeast Tuscaloosa County pick up the pieces after a F-2 tornado struck their residence. F-2 twister injured 5 people during the night of Nov. 10, 2002. Several mobile homes were destroyed in the Abernant area of Northeast Tuscaloosa County. A large portion of Hillcrest Meadows Subdivision was devastated by a Dec. 16,2000 F-4 tornado that hit southern Tuscaloosa County.
